Prayer
O God, from whom all good proceeds: Grant that by your inspiration we may think those things that are right, and by your merciful guiding may do them; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen. (Book of Common Prayer)

Reflection
Those who live at earth’s farthest bounds are awed by your signs;
you make the gateways of the morning and the evening shout for joy.
You visit the earth and water it;
you greatly enrich it;
the river of God is full of water;
you provide the people with grain,
for so you have prepared it.
You water its furrows abundantly,
settling its ridges,
softening it with showers,
and blessing its growth.
You crown the year with your bounty;
your wagon tracks overflow with richness.
The pastures of the wilderness overflow;
the hills gird themselves with joy;
the meadows clothe themselves with flocks;
the valleys deck themselves with grain;
they shout and sing together for joy (Psalm 65:8-13).
In awe of God, I stand amazed,
Enraptured by the world He’s raised.
From mountain peaks to ocean deep,
His wondrous works, my soul doth keep.
.
In radiant hues, the sunset gleams,
A canvas painted by divine dreams.
The twinkling stars, a cosmic dance,
Revealing His majestic expanse.
.
The gentle breeze, a whispered song,
Caressing me as I walk along.
The fragrant blossoms, petals unfurled,
Speak of His love to all the world.
.
In every creature, big or small,
I see His hand, the Maker of all.
From soaring eagle to humble ant,
Each one a testament, enchant.
.
The rhythm of life, a symphony,
In perfect harmony, a mystery.
The seasons change, a splendid show,
His artistry in constant flow.
.
From birth to death, His guiding hand,
Through joys and sorrows, I understand,
That every moment, every day,
He walks beside me on this earthly way.
.
Oh, how my heart does swell and soar,
In reverence for the One I adore.
With humble gratitude, I bow my head,
In awe of God, by whom I’m led.
.
His world unfolds, a masterpiece,
Each day a gift, a cherished lease.
In awe of God, I’ll ever be,
His love and grace, my soul set free.
PRAYER: Creator God, you call us to love and serve you with body, mind, and spirit through loving your creation and our sisters and brothers. Open our hearts in compassion and receive these petitions on behalf of the needs of the church and the world.
Holy One, hear our prayers and make us faithful stewards of the fragile bounty of this earth so that we may be entrusted with the riches of heaven. Amen. (Revised Common Lectionary)
