Prayer
O God, your never-failing providence sets in order all things both in heaven and earth: Put away from us, we entreat you, all hurtful things, and give us those things which are profitable for us; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Reflection
These are waterless springs and mists driven by a storm; for them the deepest darkness has been reserved. For they speak bombastic nonsense, and with debased desires of the flesh they entice people who have just escaped from those who live in error. They promise them freedom, but they themselves are slaves of corruption, for people are slaves to whatever masters them. For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overpowered, the last state has become worse for them than the first. For it would have been better for them never to have known the way of righteousness than, after knowing it, to turn back from the holy commandment that was handed on to them (2 Peter 2:17-21).
In realms where mysteries unfold,
Where wisdom’s tales are often told,
There lies a truth, both vast and wide,
Where God's essence can’t be denied.
+
For all truths, from realms diverse,
Reside within a cosmic verse,
In every realm, in every thought,
God’s fingerprint can e’er be sought.
+
The stars above, their gleaming light,
Reveal the majesty of His might,
Each atom, quark, and cosmic ray,
Proclaim His presence, day by day.
+
In sacred books of ancient lore,
Where seekers seek and souls explore,
The words of prophets and of seers,
Resound with truths that God endears.
+
Yet truth extends beyond those scrolls,
In nature’s dance, its vibrant roles,
For science, too, with probing eye,
Discovers truths that can’t deny.
=
From galaxies to cells so small,
From gravity to love’s sweet call,
In every law and pattern found,
God’s hand in truth can e'er be bound.
+
In art and music’s gentle sway,
In colors that adorn each day,
In poetry and prose’s rhyme,
God’s truth transcends the bounds of time.
+
For all truths, be they great or small,
Are fragments of the Truth of all,
And when we seek with open hearts,
God's truth within each realm imparts.
+
So let us humbly strive to see,
The tapestry of truth set free,
For every realm, in every hue,
All truth is God’s, forever true.
PRAYER: O God, from whom all good proceeds: Grant that by your inspiration we may think those things that are right, and by your merciful guiding may do them; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
