Keep, O Lord, your household the Church in your steadfast faith and love, that through your grace we may proclaim your truth with boldness, and minister your justice with compassion; for the sake of our Savior Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Reflection

Ephesians 2:11-22

For he is our peace; in his flesh he has made both into one and has broken down the dividing wall, that is, the hostility between us (2:14).

These words from Ephesians carry a radical and often uncomfortable call to reconciliation that transcends mere civility.
