Reflection
Bring forth your case, the Voice thunders across the silent hall— a courtroom where mountains stand as witnesses and the wind itself waits for testimony. Let your idols speak. Let the carved breathless things explain the past, predict the future, name even one thread woven into the tapestry of time. But they stand mute, cold as the stone they were chiseled from, unable to lift a finger or stir a leaf or whisper a promise. The Voice presses on: Show us a sign, a tremor, a spark, a word that carries weight. But the air remains empty, and the silence grows heavy like a verdict already forming. Behold— they are nothing, their works less than vapor, their worship a mirage dissolving under the heat of truth. Yet from the rising sun comes One who acts, who strides across history with purpose in His hands and justice in His breath. God calls, and nations shift. God speaks, and the future unfolds. God declares, and the earth remembers that only one Voice ever breaks the silence.
PRAYER: Keep, O Lord, your household the Church in your steadfast faith and love, that through your grace we may proclaim your truth with boldness, and minister your justice with compassion; for the sake of our Savior Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.
